Football Canada in partnership with Football Quebec is proud and thrilled to invite the world to the banks of the Richelieu River in St-Jean Sur-Richelieu, Quebec for the 4th IFAF Flag Football World Cup. Participants will compete against the best flag football teams the world has to offer while experiencing the “joie-de-vie” of the Quebec culture. We look forward to welcoming all the teams to Canada in July!

Location

St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec, is a city filled with history and culture unique to the Quebec regions. This urban centre next to the country side is located in Southern Quebec approximately 20 KM from Montreal and the Canadian-U.S border. St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu is home to 89,000 residents along the Richelieu River and hosts a marina, shops, renowned restaurants, art venues, public market and 5 golf courses. Also known as the Quebec’s Balloon Capital, St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu hosts the International Balloon Festival which receives an average of 350,000 visitors annually.

Accommodations:

The Campus du Fort St-Jean will host all the 4th IFAF Flag Football World Cup activities including games, lodging and social events. Fort St-Jean has a long military tradition and played an important role throughout Canadian history. It is located on the banks of the Richelieu River only minutes from the marina and Old St-Jean. Athletes will be housed in single rooms with shared bathrooms. The cafeteria, which will serve three meals daily to tournament participants, is located on campus between the dormitories and competition fields.
